It was the first time they had visited our new location. A visit that brought together many memories and created a unique moment where past, present and future met.

During their visit, our Managing Director, Tom Niens, presented the very first copy of the "50 Years of Robertpack" anniversary book to Rob. A book that captures half a century of entrepreneurship, innovation, collaboration and, above all, many wonderful stories.

Another special moment was also on the programme. Many years ago, Rob gifted us a large boulder that was uncovered during excavation work at one of our previous locations. Rob immediately saw the symbolism in it and spoke words that still perfectly reflect Robertpack today:

“Steady as a rock.”

The stone moved with us to our new facility and has now been given a prominent place in the garden at our entrance. To mark our 50th anniversary, our staff association commissioned a commemorative plaque. Together, Rob and Tom unveiled this special gift, ensuring that the stone is not only a tangible reminder of our history, but also a symbol of the values on which Robertpack has been built for the past 50 years.

It was wonderful to see how impressed Rob and Henny were with our new facility. Their visit once again highlighted the importance of the foundation on which our company was built: trust, entrepreneurship, commitment and collaboration.
